At Railings-Glass, delivery is an integral part of our commitment to quality. Each order is prepared, packaged and transported according to strict procedures to guarantee safe, compliant delivery with no unpleasant surprises.

Whether it's a residential or professional project, we adapt our logistics to the site's configuration and access constraints, for perfectly controlled delivery.

Order preparation and packaging

Before shipment, each order is rigorously checked and packaged according to the type of product delivered.

• Small orders: reinforced packaging in protected, wedged cartons
• Large orders: packed in wooden crates, shrink-wrapped and shockproof
• Products stored and dispatched in compliance with glass transport standards
• Orders validated before 8am (working days): dispatch within 48 hours, subject to availability.

Transport organization and coordination

Prior to delivery, the carrier will contact you to schedule the delivery. This step ensures that everything runs smoothly and safely.

• Organization of unloading according to site configuration

Delivery by appointment only

All deliveries are made by appointment in order to guarantee :

• the presence of the consignee or his representative,
• immediate verification of the goods,
• safe handling of the glass elements.

This step is essential to ensure the conformity of the material delivered prior to installation.

Receipt and inspection of goods

Upon delivery, it is imperative to :

• check the condition of the packages before signing the delivery note,
• mention any specific reservations in the event of any anomaly,
• immediately report any visible damage.

No claim can be taken into account without a written mention upon receipt. This step conditions the activation of the warranty.

Terms of delivery in mainland France

Delivery by 19-tonne carrier (standard)

• Vehicle equipped with tail elevator
• Suitable for standard access
• Capacity of 40 to 60 m³
• Lead time: 10 to 21 days depending on period

Delivery by semi-trailer

• Recommended for large orders
• HGV access required
• Loading optimized for long lengths
• Average lead time: 7 to 10 working days

Access conditions

• Access must be compatible with a 19T truck
• No traffic bans or height restrictions
• If this is not possible, delivery by light vehicle can be arranged (additional charges apply).
